Mohammed Gharib



Mohammed Gharib is currently a post doctoral research fellow in the School of Computer Scince, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Tehran, Iran. He received the B.S. degree from Baghdad university of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2007. He also had received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2009 and 2015, respectively. In September 2010, he joined performance and dependability laboratory (PDL) where he had been working toward his Ph.D. degree, supervised by prof. Ali Movaghar, in computer engineering department at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He is the head of mobile ad hoc network group in PDL where they work on the mobility, routing and the security of MANETs. During the year 2014, he had a six months visiting research program, supervised by prof. Homayoun Yousefi’zadeh, in California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology, University of California Irvine, Irvine, California, US. His research interests include mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, Peer-to-Peer networks and their security aspects.
