1- The deadline of submission is extended to 1384/11/5.
2- This take home exam has 30% of your final exam grades.
3- The theory part of this take home has 50% and practical part has the other 50% value. |

2- Chapter 8 of Han book
2- A take home for Chapters 4 to 7 of Soumen book
Exam is closed book. You can have a calculator with you and a one page of formulas. |

First draft schedule for your seminars are uploaded to Assignments. Please note that for most days there are 6 candidates according to this schedule. For each day we can cover 3 to 4 seminar so some should be eliminated.
For the first try I want to let those who don't want to have seminar tell to me. Please send me an email until 9/27 (only those who want to drop from having seminar). After that I will fix last version of seminars. |

Some students asked me for some topics for thier seminars. For those students, they can select topics from following options. Please inform me on your selection as soon as possible:
- Learning algorithms, Soumen Book, pp. 177-198 (should be presented in 09/22)
- Social Network Analysis part 1, Soumen Book, pp. 203-225 (until section 7.4) (should be presented in 09/27)
- Social Network Analysis part 2, Soumen Book, pp. 225-254 (from section 7.4) (should be presented in 09/29)
Please inform me as soon as possible. Selections are first come first served. |

Due to the problem that some of students has reported with using plot diagram for Mobile_Home_Training_File-forCARTIIProject.txt “project 2”, you can solve this problem by modifying source files and replacing spaces " " in attributes Title by "" or using the new version of files Mobile_Home_Test_File and Mobile_Home_Training_File |

Cereals data set that some students mentioned they can't work with it is okay. The only consideration is that its fields are TAB delimited instead of COMMA. So on the File dialog please check the Tab checkbox and you should get the results. |
