Dear OOD students,

Please be informed that the audio file for Session 10 is available from the following link:
  - Session 10: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CvKtziJS5FyYqq6Ql_lsDld9LXSQjv9r

This session is related to Lecture 2 (http://sharif.edu/~ramsin/index_files/oodlecture2.pdf). As you already know, the main resource for Lecture 2 is the course textbook (http://me.ce.sharif.edu/files/UML2andUP.rar). If you have any questions regarding Lectures 1 and 2, you should first refer to the resources (both of which are available on the CE course-page). Persistent questions can be directed to me or the TA (Mr. Vahdati: adel_vahdati_2006@yahoo.com).

I will be sending you supplementary material during the next couple of weeks. Narrated PowerPoint files for Lectures 1 and 2 will also be sent; these will answer many of your questions. Unfortunately, nobody knows how long the current situation will go on. The university is bracing itself for a prolonged quarantine period, which may well span the whole semester. Therefore, our classes after Nowruz will probably be held online (via Sharif Courseware). The details will be sent to you in due time.

I would like to take advantage of this opportunity to wish you and your esteemed families a happy Nowruz and a new year filled with hope and well-being.

Best regards
Ramsin

Dear OOD students,

We will not have our regular classes in Esfand. However, we have been asked by the university to provide our students with the means to continue their studies throughout Esfand. Some professors have chosen to hold their classes via Skype or Sharif Courseware, while others have chosen to provide their students with slides and recorded material.

In my opinion, virtual/online classes are great, but not effective enough. I have therefore decided to provide you with recorded material so that you can keep yourself busy during Esfand; this material will be sent to you in due time. However, we will hold extra sessions in Farvardin and Ordibehesht to make up for the lost sessions. You are strongly advised to attend these sessions, but attendance will not be mandatory.

I’d like to take advantage of this opportunity to wish health and wellbeing for you and your families. If you have elderly people in your families, take very good care of them.

Best regards
Ramsin
