Brief Explanation:
I wrote IPC as a tool for testing various image processing routines. Now it is considered obsolete as it is DOS based. The program code completed on May 1996. Later I may try to renew a Windows based version with more facilities.

IPC works with raw format image files. You may download a group of raw format images that are appropriate for image processing researches and used in IPC from the download page. IPC has been written as a project for my "Image Processing" course, Spring 1996. Here is some of it's features:

• Histogram modification
• Average, Low Pass, Median and High Pass Filtering
• Fast/Slow Special Mask Filtering
• Homomorphic Filtering
• DCT Filtering
• Edge Detection (Sobel, Roberts, Laplacian, Prewitt, Compass)
• Coding (PCM, DM, DPCM, Roberts, Mean)
• Adding Noise (Uniform, rayleigh, Gaussian, Negative Exponential, Gamma, Correlated Gaussian)
• PSNR, NMSE and SNR calculation
