2- Setting up wireless Network in Fedora Core 5
First I strongly recommend, if you use wireless network extensively (in some cases that there is no plug for your cable network), upgrade your fedora to FC5 that uses appropriate kernel. In previous kernels you might use ndiswrapper. But I could not use it because whenever I "modprob" it, the screen froze and I must only restart the system.
I search and find out that if I use kernel 2.6.12 or higher, I can use IPW2100 (in my system) driver that it is supported by Intel. I try to install new kernel (compare to previous FC3 2.6.9), but this time also I have no success.
I have now fedora 5 and you will see that how easy you can setup a wireless network. After installing FC5, I went to network control and saw this:

Hopefully fedora detected my wireless card. In "devices" section you can see "eth0" for wireless:

Only problem, is to find appropriate firmware version for your card and load it. Go to this site and download firmware for IPW2100. After that, extract the archive and copy all files in /lib/firmware. Then use these two command:
1- rmmod ipw2100
2- modprobe ipw2100
I download and use version 1.3 and it is working.
Now go to "services" and start "NetworkManager" like this:

After starting that, if you turn on antenna, you will see this Icon in your taskbar:

Then if it detect a network near you, prompt you for key. After entering right key, you will see that connection is established:

Enjoy Internet!!
