In this project I used ActionScript 2 and Flash
files to create a quiz generator program.
This program used an XML
file to initialize a flash program. Each quiz will have some slides
to introduce questions using texts, images/SWFs, sounds and external
files and some interactive slides. Up to now interactive slides
categorized in seven types:
- Project: Which users should write a text that will be
assessed according to solution in the XML file.
- Puzzle: User should drags and drops images to create an
image.
- Image Hotspot: User should select a specific region of an
image.
- Linking: User should connects images/SWFs or texts in two
columns.
- MultiChoice: User selects one or more choices in each
questions.
- MultiQuestion: Each questions presented in a slide
- External quiz: This type of quiz designed to extend the
program to plug-in an external interactive quiz using a component
in flash.
Authors can use this program to help users after subscribing
error answer 3 times by a help slide.
Program features:
- Using external XML files as input (appropriate for CMS
applications).
- Animation effects in presenting slides and slides items.
- load colors, fonts and some layout settings form external
CSS file.
- Make multiple quizzes in a flash file.
- Optional help slide for each interactive question.
- Supports UTF-8 encoding.
- Use texts, images/SWFs, sounds, external files as basic
parts.
- Streaming sound files.
- Accessibility functions to navigate and submit questions
rapidly.
- Ability to show questions randomly.
- Ability to connect external SWF files as an interactive
question
- Based on Object Oriented Programming approach using
ActionScript 2.
