About me

My Bibliography:

I was born in the 26th of Azar in 1362 (17th of December, 1983) in Tehran. I am the first child of the family, and I have two younger brothers that are 2 and 5 years younger than me. My mom was a mathematical teacher before I was born but decided to quit and be a housewife to take care of me and then my brothers. Many things that I have now is because of her devotions. My dad is an electrical engineer. He has built a special tester machine for the automobile engine power evaluation, for the first time in Iran. He has also won the Kharazmi prize, the top level engineering prize of Iran, twice already for his innovations. My older brother is a junior Computer Engineering student in the Poly-Technique University of Technology, a.k.a. the Amirkabir University of technology. He has great talent in mathematics and he is currently engaged in ACM and RoboCup competitions. My younger brother is a pre-university student and is preparing to take part in the university entrance exam in a few days.

I had a wonderful childhood. We lived with my grandparents for 2 years when I was 7 and 8. My grandparents' house was very big, and had a huge lovely garden, and many of my best memories are related to those two years and the games I've played with my cousins there. When I turned 9 we moved to Shiraz city for one year, because of my dad's job. Again, I remember that year as one of my best years. People in Shiraz were wonderful people. Our house was on the second floor of a building, and the first floor was a kindergarten. Everyone was kind and happy in Shiraz.

After that year, when I entered Farzanegan guidance school, which was the part of National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents, I met new friends and some of them are still my best friends. After guidance school I entered Farzanegan high school, and had wonderful time with my best friends. I was a good student, and that made life much easier!

Preparing for university entrance exam wasn't hard for me. In fact, that year was one of the easiest years of my life, and specially since I was accepted in my favorite field and my favorite university, that year left a good memory in my mind. Sharif university was wonderful. It taught me a lot and helped me grow up in many aspects.

Right now, I am studying Information Technology at the university of Tehran. I admit that Sharif university was far better than the university of Tehran. However, I do not regret spending some time in the university of Tehran. At the very least, I met a new department, and new sets of professors and new friends. Right now, both the Tehran and Sharif universities are my second homes. This doesn't sound bad, does it?!

My Hobbies :

I love anything related to the arts: Drawing, Music, Computer Graphics, Persian Cryptography, and even Doll Sewing!

I draw with the Drawing pencil. Of course, on many of my exercise drafts, and generally anything that can be drown on, you can find my complete or incomplete drawings. I like drawing faces and specially eyes, but when I'm thinking on a hard problem, my hands just function as their own, and draw what they like. I also like drawing cartoon characters very much. My research papers sometimes have some nice cartoons on them too. Specially when the material that I'm reading is tough!

I've had a keyboard since I was 10, and It was my teacher in learning Music. I can play keyboard very well, and I can perform any music that I hear anywhere by a few tries. Reading from notes is very very hard for me, though. If I want to play a music that I've not heard before, first I must play the notes very slowly to make my ears learn the melody, and then I can play the whole piece from my memory. This is an odd way to play, I know! But I believe that this way, I face the real soal of the music, and not the combination of some notes.

I've also recently started some cultural activities. I have created an online journal in which I talk about Iranian culture, our great background, our kind people, the sweet Farsi language, beautiful Persian architectures, Islam as part of our culture, and how different it is from what is presented in the media. I've found many nice friends from all over the world too, and I owe some of my growing up to them! My journal is located in a filtered site, so if you're Iranian, you should try this version instead, to be able to access to it.

And oh, one of my favorite hobbies is computer adventure games! I was a fan of computer games since I was 12, and I'm still one of the first buyers of the new games. Some of the most interesting games that I have played are Prince of Persia (Specially this last one which was really cool), Tomb Raider (All of the versions were lovely), Splinter Cell, LBA, Grim Fandango, Monkey Island series, Resident evil series (specially the second one), and many many other games that I don't remember right now! My mom thinks that playing is a waste of time, but I don't agree with her. I want to work in computer Game industry one day, because I think that the best way to convey goodness and create better generation of people is through the games they play while they're younger. People learn more when they're having fun, so why not use this to teach many good things to them?

And of course, ever since J.K.Rowling had written her Harry Potter series, I have followed it with excitement!. My favorite character was Snape, but when Dombledore was killed by him I stopped liking Snape. If it turns out that he is a good guy, after all, I'll start liking him again. I don't like bad guys, you know. I also like Ginny Weasley. She is happy, clever, and funny.
