EMDAD I
consists of three parts, hardware, software and mechanics,
by its hardware and software features, an operator can
remotely control the robot via TCP/IP WLAN. In this
tele-operated
system, the operator have the audio and video of the
environment and is aware of surrounding obstacles using a sonar belt.
The mechanical structure of EMDAD I allows it to move through obstacles or to pass them.
In the 2001 Competition, EMDAD I found the most simulated victims in
the most difficult arena among the competitors and won the
Technical Award in Advanced Mobility. |
