Toposim is a Java Based simulator developed to and evaluate topology control protocols for mobile wireless and Ad-hoc networks.

Some Important features:

            Supported Mobility Models:

Imports Mobisim mobility traces for following mobility models:

Random Waypoint

Random Walk

Reference Point Group Mobility Model (RPGM)

Gauss-Markov

Freeway

Manhattan

          Output Traces:

Generated power traces which contain mobility trace and selected radio range for each node in each time

XML and Text output

Graphics:

A well designed user friendly graphical interface

Online animation support

Configurations:

Supports topology control configurations such as:

Topology Control Algorithms like Original and Novel Mobility Aware Topology Control Protocol

Mobility prediction methods including:

Exact

Simple

Enhanced

And other customized configurations

Protocol Evaluation:

Supports Protocol Evaluation with Specified Parameters Like:

Average Radio Range (m)

Disconnection Ratio in network Graph (%)

Average Distance Prediction Error

Average Position Prediction Error

Batch Trace Generator:

Supports batch trace generation which uses XML configuration files and generates traces with given configurations.

It can generate XML configuration files for given configurations
