Academics: ... A brief academic biography ...

Now, I am a senior student of Computer Hardware Engineering in Sharif University of Technology. In my hometown Isfahan, I studied in Ejei high school in physics and mathematics discipline . My regional rank in national university entrance exam was 149 among nearly 1.5 Million students.

Although, I am a bachelor student and don't have any specific strict research focus, I spend my free time studing my interests. My main research interests are:

  • Embedded Systems

  • Computer Architecture

  • Asynchronous Design

  • Network on Chip

Research: ... Because the mind is a terrible thing to waste ...

Publications: ... My scientific!! articles ...

  • Alireza Vahdatpour, Mahdi Fazeli, seyed Ghassem Miremadi, "Transient Error Detection in Embedded Systems Using Reconfigurable Components",2006, to be published in the proceeding IEEE Symposium on Industrial Embedded Systems (IES'2006), Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, France.

  • Alireza Vahdatpour, Ahmadreza Tavakoli, Mohammad Hossein Falaki, "Hierarchical Graph: A New Cost Effective architecture For Network on Chip",2005 IFIP International Conference on Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing (EUC'2005), Nagasaki, Japan.(pdf)

  • Alireza Vahdatpour, "Medical Imaging Systems", Translation of chapter 12 of "Medical Instrumentation". (Farsi)

  1. VAFA P2P  includes design and implementation of a simple peer to peer network for file sharing. This project was done with cooperation of me and my dear friend Hossein Falaki. Its Documentations are available here.

  2. VAFA Tiny Router. is an embedded router, works on an i386 with simple web configuration interface. It uses a special version of NetBSD. It's OS and all of its programs are only about 10MB. A short Description is available here. This project is also a common work with my dear friend Falaki.

  3. Logic Analyzer Disassembler. This program uses the output of a logic analyzer( in form of zeros and ones) and convert it to readable assembly code for 8085 microprocessor.

  4. Implementing a simple CPU with floating point and integer computation unit with VHDL.

  5. Memory Simulator is a simple graphical simulator of memory. It has been written by JAVA using Applets. In order to see it click here(It requires Java and high computing power).
