Game Algorithms: See my Introduction to Game Tree Algorithms for the algorithms I used in my chess and reversi programs.

Chess: I am working on a program which plays chess. The current version plays ok, and follows all of the rules (even en-passant and repeated position draws). The latest version is available for download on the following platforms:

• Linux X-Windows (579 KB, Last updated 11/10/2002)
• HamedChess 1.1 for Windows - Graphical (executable) (1.1 MB) A lot of the bugs in version 1.0 have been fixed here.
• HamedChess 1.1 for Windows - Graphical (zipped) (334 KB) Same as above.

Reversi: This is a program I wrote which plays reversi, also known as othello. Currently the following are available for download. All are fully functional, with no known bugs.

3D Graphics: I wrote The Magic Cube using OpenGL. It is a simple modeler/renderer which lets you move around objects, lights, etc. and also renders shadows (even multiple shadows from different light sources) and reflections.
