Life at Graduate School
At Fall 2009, I got Exceptional Talent Award for the M.Sc. Program in Information Technology from
Computer Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran,
and I started my M.Sc. in Computer Networks professionally.
I have worked on "Social Networks" specially "Information Diffusion Networks" during my M.Sc. education and done my thesis on "Extracting Cascaded Information Networks from Social Networks".
I graduated at M.Sc. at Fall 2011 and continue my work on "Social Networks" at computer engineering department of SUT as a Research Assistant. Now, I'm working on "Sampling impact on Informaion Diffusion Networks".
I want to pursue my studies on Social Networks at PhD in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in Fall 2012.
Life before graduate school
At the beginning...
I was born and raised in Yazd, The Oldest Bricked City in the World, in Iran. I study at Farzanegan school, the best Iranian school for educating exceptionally talented students (NODET), at Yazd from 1998-2005.
Getting closer to the present...
In Fall 2005, I ranked 506th out of approximately 400,000 other students in the Iranian National undergraduate entrance exam.
I was admitted into the Computer Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology (SUT),
the most competitive engineering university in Iran. I spent my undergraduate school by experiencing different fields and I got interested to
Computer Networks, specially Mobile Ad-hoc Networks.
