Academic Projects

• NDVR(Named Data Networking Distance Vector Routing Protocol)
  
  • Design and implementation of distance vector shortest path calculation and message propagation of a routing protocol In NDN, in C++.
  • Importing the implemented protocol to ndnSIM(NDN Simulator)


• Configuration of A Mobile Wireless Sensor Network and Handling Its Routing and Message Propagation
  
  • Configuring a mobile wireless sensor network with 4 nodes(here 4 laptops), first in a centralized star topology and then in a distributed multi hop topology.
  • The project required developing an emergency detector which was executed on each node. Whenever a node recognized an emergency(here a hand clap sound), it would send signals to other nodes, directly or via the nearest node, so all the other nodes got aware of the emergency and show a message.
  • The project requirements included implementation of a sound sensing mechanism, a routing strategy, accessing far away nodes through the intermediate nodes and handeling mobility limitations using Linux and python(message handeling scripts and pyaudio lib for hand clap recognition)).


• Simulation of A Mobile Ad Hoc Network
  
  • Using NS-3 simulator
  • The project required simulating an ad hoc network in a 1000 x 1000m2 simulation area including 250 nodes.
  • Mobility models for simulation included Random Waypoint and SLAW, while AODV was used as routing protocol.
  • Writing scripts to calculate throughput, average queue length, average end to end delay and overhead, from the output trace files.


• Simulation of M,M,1 Queues
  
  • Simulation of a system consisting of an M,M,1,k queue and a processor using three different service policies (Random, Round Robin, Processor Sharing) and comparing the blockage probability with analytic formula's results, in C++.

  • Implementation of a basic compiler for a simple programming language using C#.

  • Designing database tables and UI forms for a forum using SQLite3, Microsoft Web Forms and c#.

• Design, Implementation And Test Part of A 32 Bit Single Cycle MIPS Processor
  
  • Design dataPath and implement it using Verilog to support commands such as Shift Right Logical(srl), Shift Right Arithmetic(sra), Jump, Branch Equal, Set On Less Than, NOR, Load Word, Save Word and Add Immediate, besides basic commands(AND, OR, sub, add, beq).
  • Write test benches for the implemented commands.

Interests

• I really enjoy doing excersises(specifically TRX(Total Resistance exercises)) reqularly, twice a week for the last two years. Recently I also have gotten intersted in yoga, and I am practicing it a few times a week.
